Elderflower + Lavender + Cardamom Spritz – Rooted Apothecary Review

Written by Amanda Klenner

ELC spritzAnother wonderful product for our 1 year anniversary giveaway is the Elderflower + Lavender + Cardamom Spritz from Rooted Apothecary in Gunnison, Colorado.

If you hang around herbalists a lot, you will find we all have our own particular flare, passion, and products we are drawn to make. Some are more sweet, some more spicy, some more spiritual and some more clinical. This fantastic spritz is a combination of all these things, bringing spice and ease into every day skincare.

The Elderflower + Lavender + Cardamom Spritz is a fantastic skin toner to help ease and soothe irritated skin, help reduce inflammation and swelling, and it smells amazing. I have been using this after my Oil Cleansing Method face wash, and before I moisturize to help tone and tighten the pores in my nose (TMI?). I have also used it as a soothing after sun spray that helps calm the mind and the skin. I love it!

The smell is an enjoyable combination of relaxing lavender, soothing elderflower, and spicy cardamom. I have used it as a linen spray to purify the room and bring some spice into the bedroom. Although not its intended use, this fragrance water can work just about anywhere.

The Elderflower + Lavender + Cardamom Spritz is made with elderflower infused into witch hazel, and the hydrofoils of lavender and cardamom, so you are getting the aromatherapy benefits along with the toning properties of witch hazel. You can purchase yours from Rooted Apothecary HERE or enter to win one in our big 2 year anniversary give away HERE.
