Elderberry and Echinacea Syrup
This delicious elderberry syrup adds the extra punch of echinacea, calendula and a big dose of honey is just what the herbalist ordered. The flavor is fantastic and works well mixed into your favorite herbal tea, on top of pancakes, or added to sparkling water as a nice herbal soda substitute. Kids and husbands both love it and don’t even notice they are taking their herbs! Because this was made with raw honey, this is not intended for children under the age of 2.
I sneak this into plain yogurt, juice, on pancakes and waffles, in tea, and just straight from a spoon. Kids and adults alike enjoy this tasty syrup.
